Released in 1983, “Curse of the Pink Panther” is a comedy film directed by Blake Edwards and stars Ted Wass as Clifton Sleigh, an American detective who is tasked with finding the whereabouts of the missing Inspector Clouseau. The movie also features David Niven as Sir Charles Litton, Robert Wagner as George Lytton, and Herbert Lom as Chief Inspector Dreyfus.
The storyline takes viewers on a wild journey across France and Switzerland as Sleigh encounters various characters who may hold clues to Clouseau’s disappearance. Meanwhile, Dreyfus has been committed to an insane asylum due to his obsession with killing Clouseau.
