It is a truth universally acknowledged that there is nothing quite like a good psychological thriller. Andhaghaaram, the latest Tamil-language film by director V. Vignarajan fulfils this criterion with ease and mastery. The film premiered on Netflix in November 2020 and quickly gained popularity.
The plot of Andhaghaaram keeps the audience hooked throughout the duration of the film through its intelligent storyline and superb character development. The story revolves around three main characters – Vinod (Arjun Das), Selvam (Vinoth Kishan) and Dr Indran (Kumar Natarajan). Vinod, a visually impaired man, is haunted by his past while Selvam, a struggling basketball coach, meets him unexpectedly and tries to help him. Dr Indran is also trying to deal with his own demons.
